In the world of Korean entertainment, it’s not uncommon to hear someone say, “They look just like that celebrity!” But some stars bear such an uncanny resemblance to each other that fans and even the media often mistake them for siblings—or even the same person. Here are some of the most notable Korean celebrity lookalikes who’ve caused double takes with their striking similarities.
Kim Go-eun and Park So-dam: Twin Talents and Matching Visuals

Actresses Kim Go-eun and Park So-dam have been compared since their debuts, thanks to their monolidded eyes, petite frames, and clean-cut, wholesome images. Their resemblance is so close that fans often joke about needing a checklist to tell them apart—some even noting, “Park So-dam has earlobes, but Kim Go-eun doesn’t.”

The similarities extend beyond looks. Both stars graduated from the Korea National University of Arts, class of 2010, and earned Best New Actress awards early in their careers—Kim Go-eun for Eungyo and Park So-dam for The Priests. Kim Go-eun became a global star through the hit drama Goblin, while Park So-dam shot to international fame with Parasite, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes and the Oscar for Best Picture.
Bae Jin-young and Yoon Seung-ah: Cross-Gender Doppelgängers
Former Wanna One member Bae Jin-young, known from Produce 101 Season 2, raised eyebrows during the show for looking strikingly similar to actress Yoon Seung-ah. With their small faces, large eyes, and delicate features, their visuals transcended gender, earning them the title of unexpected lookalikes.

Fans even took the resemblance a step further. Yoon Seung-ah’s husband, actor Kim Moo-yeol, was often said to look like Bae Jin-young’s fellow groupmate Ong Seong-wu. Together, the real-life couple and their idol lookalikes were affectionately dubbed the “couple-z” by fans.
Kim Min-jae and Yeo Jin-goo: From Schoolmates to Lookalike Stars
Another famous pair of lookalikes includes actors Kim Min-jae and Yeo Jin-goo. Both have similar strong jawlines, soft facial features, and deep, resonant voices that make their resemblance almost uncanny. They also share an academic background, having both studied at Chung-Ang University’s Department of Theater and Film.

Their closeness in real life has only amplified the confusion. On a 2015 episode of Radio Star, Kim Min-jae recalled, “Kang Ho-dong sunbaenim said, ‘Jin-goo, I loved your movie,’ but I hadn’t even been in it!” Despite the resemblance, some classmates say the two don’t look quite as similar in person.
